The Problem

I am raising money in order transform Abomey, Benin into a self-sufficient society. This society is a Beninese orphanage and training center called ANDIA for formerly trafficked children. In order to become a self-sufficient society, ANDIA is in dire need of materials such as chicken coops, chickens, goats, an irrigation system, fruit trees, and tools for planting. My main goal is to bring attention to this situation in America, especially New Orleans in addition I want to provide opportunities to individuals and businesses to become involved with helping.

Plan of Action

I started this program (Unseen Stories ANDIA) in the United States in January of 2011. This is a new organization that has high expectations. In order to raise money for ANDIA to become self-sufficient, I made sponsorship postcards for businesses, people, and schools to become aware of the poverty and sponsor a child. The sponsorship terms available are one month, three months, six months, nine months, one year, three years, five years, and ten years.
