The Problem

About 2.5 billion pounds of textiles are reclaimed from solid waste every year. I'm trying to do my part in keeping textiles and waste out of landfills by rescuing, redesigning and reusing!

Plan of Action

We take things that might be thrown away and turn them into different things. Then we put newly designed things up for sale on Etsy. When people buy things, we donate our profits to organizations that need help--a different organization each month. So far, I've donated $50.00 to American Diabetes Association and $17.70 to American Heart Association. The month of March our profits go to the March of Dimes. My goal is to donate $100.00 each month.
