Project Updates

7/30/08-After hosting 22 of my own beach clean-ups and 3 sponsored by my community, I have picked up 901 pounds of garbage from local beaches. By cleaning up Maine beaches, I believe I can help not only wildlife in the area, but the health and welfare of beach goers as well. In order to further promote my efforts, the Plum grant money helped fund educational programs that will help the youth in my area become better stewards of the oceans.
