Spoke with the Violin instructor down in Saltillo,MX and the children are doing great! We still have the full amount of students (10) in the music program. Most have moved onto Book 2 of Suzuki Strings program & our advanced have moved onto Book 3. The children are mostly performing in groups in community events in Mexico.
They have played at the opening of two new churches in their area as well as participating in community events. They also travel to ranchos to perform for a group of people who live in isolated communities in the mountains & in the desert.
Strings With Wings is working on trying to bring the ten students from Mexico into the U.S during the summer for further music instruction & for a cultural experience. I will update you later.
