Update on 2008 GUTS Summit: 150 high school students attended the summit to hear guest speakers, share their own views on the 2008 presidential election, and participate in activities on diversity and the high school drop-out problem in American and our specific community.
Update on 2010 GUTS Summit: Dozens of local youth ages 13-19 spent the day at Centenary College meeting the local Mayor and engaging in insightful and poignant discussions on justice, social inequities, race and diversity, and how to become involved in community service.
