The Problem

Our local playground used to be one of the best. In recent years the city has decided to remove the playground structures instead of replacing them. Now all that is left is a small slide and a few swings. The children in our neighborhood deserve a playground that is safe and fun.

Plan of Action

Our goal is $250,000. So far we have done 5k fun runs, 4th of july events, and an auction to reach $70,000. The community support has be amazing. We have another fun run coming up May 1st, and hope to raise much more. Our goal was to not only build a playground thbut to bring the community together in support of eachother.

Project Updates

On May 1st, we had our second annual Fun Run. A 5k/ 1 mile Fun Run to raise money for the playground! We had over 300 participants and 20 different vendors!

Our goal that day was to reach the $100,000 mark and WE DID IT!
