In this fast paced world, we are struggling to recruit new generation volunteers within our community to respond to emergencies. I reached out to the community for donations to begin our first website for the Fire Rescue Company. We have just began with $500, which has allowed us to launch our first website. We have developed a website which will assist our Volunteer organization in recruiting new volunteer members. This site will also allow our company to reflect a positive image on the community and provide a means for the public to Internet generation to communicate with us. We have spent countless volunteer hours designing graphics, working with members of the fire hall, and community to develop an effective site. A site that will be an effective tool in recruiting new members. The site is beginning to mature and allowing our Internet generation volunteer members communicate more efficiently. In addition, it has really become helpful to the volunteers who have full time jobs and are unable to communicate with the fire company in a physical means. This site allows these volunteers to use forms to promote their ideas/suggestions. Our company is trying to utilize technology to better our volunteer organization, and we are working to continue this effort. I hope that with more team work, dedication, and donations from organizations, we will be able to continue striving forward. Utilizing the latest in technology to allow our Volunteer Fire Rescue Company effectively communicate with the always on the go/fast paced volunteer members, ultimately providing better emergency response and planning to the community.
