The Problem

As budgets become crunched government sponsored programs are taking the hit. I exhibit animials in 4H and I have learned great speaking skills, leadership skills and I have met kids I would not have otherwise had the opportunity to meet. due to budget cuts our local 4H program is in trouble and if they do not self fund $50,000 per year, they will no longer exist and over 1500 local kids will lose a wonderful program.

Plan of Action

If our group can recycle 1,000,000 cans we can raise half of the money needed to keep the program. 25,000$. We would like to make tshirts to wear at the local festival to raise awareness and place drop cans around for the people to place their cans as well. I will be going to the newspaper and local radio station.
