Walking Trail

I would like to begin the fundraising for a walking/running trail around my elementary school playground. I love to run and my school doesn't have a track so we run around the field which gets muddy and also sometimes has bees because of the clover in the grass. People in the neighborhood also use my school yard to walk their dogs and some people don't clean up their dogs mess and we step in it while we are playing. A walking trail would be a great place to walk or run away from the grass. My school is starting a healthy kids program after-school that is part exercise and part nutrition education to help kids avoid getting fat and sick. The trail could be used by them too. My principal said maybe we could put fruit trees along the trail too and use them in our education on healthy foods and garden projects.
