The Problem

There is a high drowning rate of African-American children in ethnically diverse communities such as my own, and many of these children do not have access to pools or swim lessons to learn how to swim and be water safe.

Plan of Action

We provide free swim lessons to these children after school, and the lessons are taught by high school volunteers.
