The Problem

Lack of proper health care available to the less fortunate children has always been an on-going problem. Our aim is to improve health care facilities (eg. needed medical supplies to hospitals, medical kits to kids in need/disaster management facilities etc.) around the world. Being a youth myself, we feel that it is onto us, the future generation, to take the initiative to care and make a difference. This is also where we got the inspiration for our organization – showing the world that amidst all the war and borders, we the youth do care about everyone irrespective of culture, religion, age or sex.

Plan of Action

1) Most Important: - Contact a children hospital in Pakistan and provide medical kits for the victims of the recent devastating floods that occurred in Pakistan. - Contact the children hospital in India and Peru and inquire about their most-needed medical supply. Buy that particular medical supply and send it to them. 2) Fundraise and approach businesses for sponsorship. 3) Expand our organization and invite more members. 5) By the end of September, collect minimum $1000 in donations and send the money out to both children hospitals listed earlier. List of events where we will fundraise : 1)UBC Events 2)Eid Al Fitr 3) Vaisakhi 4) Christmas Fundraising 5) Door to door fundraising As one of the co-founders of the organization, it will be my responsibility to carry out all the above mentioned events as well as manage the money fundraised. Furthermore, my co-founder and I will be in constant contact with the children hospitals and getting updates on the type of medical facilities/tools they are in desperate need of; according to the received information, we will set out goals for the coming months and plan more fundraising events.
