The Problem

The main focus of We're Next is to educate the students at our high school about the importance of generosity and compassion. By having various drives and awareness days at our school, students are becoming more conscious of their surroundings and the significance of helping others. By talking to students about social issues, we've increased their desire to help others and become involved in causes they care about.

Plan of Action

It started with just one person who had an idea, and with passion and motivation developed into a network of students with a commonality: helping others. I hope that one day, We're Next will develop into a national organization that will help students from elementary school to college create their own clubs that span from environmental to humanitarian issues. Different schools can then team up together to create mentor ships and broaden their impact across the nation and the world. I've helped students realize that even giving a little bit goes a very long way. I've also helped students recognize their own compassion and empathy towards others and how to act upon that motivation. Some students become inspired and want to become a member of We're Next or come to me for advice on where to volunteer and help others.
