The Problem

I want to raise awareness about Breast Cancer. Many people don't change things until they directly effect them or their family and I believe that needs to change in people. We need to be more united as a country and help in everyway possible. I believe that continuing to raise awareness or pushing people to notice that cancer is a big issue and steals alot of lives. The more people know, the more we can continue to change it and hopefully stop it all together.

Plan of Action

For starters, my mother doesn't know I am planning this event. She has no idea about any of it. So, I want to show her that, one, that cancer is a big problem and I'm by her side to dominate it, and two, to let her know that I care so unbelieveably much for her and I want to show her that if she wasn't as strong of a woman that I wouldn't be as strong either. My plan is to create pictures and 3D models/photos out of duct tape to raise awareness about cancer. The pictures will be humorous and inspirational to many. They will also provide information and statistics on breast cancer and how it can tear up a family. I plan to be put into my college gallery to show the city. After the gallery showing, I want to take the pictures to the Duct Tape Festival and to sell them and give money to the Breast Cancer Foundation.
