Who Are the Green People!?

We intend to raise awareness through a viral campaign including twenty students, all wearing neon green spandex suits. -So far, there is just one green person who has been wandering campus; however, 20 more suits should be on their way very soon. -We will not tell anyone why we are wearing the suits, in order to lure the curious into the Student Union Theatre on April 21st. -The presentation will include an environmental version of the game show "The Price is Right." ex.) Instead of having audience members guess the prices of grocery store items as you see them on the shelf, we will have them guess statistics about the percentage of used items that have made their way into land fills, rather than being recycled. -In between gaming activities, we will present short comedic clips showing the positive consequences of making very minimal lifestyle changes. ex.) There will be a water war, Green People vs. the average citizen. The Green People will load their water guns with hose water, while the opposing team will use bottled water, and therefore lose miserably. -The presentation is a day before Earth Day, and we will have many eco-friendly activities available on Earth Day. At the end of the presentation, we will inform the audience of what they can do the next day along with how else to get involved on campus. -We will also ask the audience members to sign a pledge stating that whenever they walk within 5ft of littered garbage, they will pick it up and throw it out our recycle it.
