The Problem

The purpose of the World AIDS Day service project was to inform the community of the sex preventive measures. In Alabama, the Calhoun County is ranked as one the highest county with STD cases. Young people are leading individual cases of STD.

Plan of Action

The coalition identified the project by working with our group leaders. We discussed issues that we were concerned about and important to us. Next, we research agencies that specialize in the area. We found an agency and offered our assistance. Through talking to the event coordinators, the coalition left an impression that the young people are concerned about living healthy lives.
