The Problem

World Faith is addressing the increased use of religiously-fueled violence, religious tension, and media portrayals or religious traditions in diverse and at-risk communities across the world.

Plan of Action

World Faith is about mobilizing religious diverse young people to engage in interfaith service projects as a means of dialogue through action. This action-based approach is vital in weakening potential violence by creating cross-identity friendships in religious diverse communities, while acting in the shared value of service. We started in New York, and now we are replicating the model world-wide, including in several locations in the US, Egypt, India, Sudan, South Africa, Nigeria, Pakistan, and Lebanon. in 2010, we mobilized hundreds of volunteers worldwide to generate approximately 5,000 community service hours, impacting the life of thousands.
