The Problem

Recently there has been an increase in the suicide rate of teens. Some find it a joke and it is nowhere near one. My school has the yellow ribbon posters (2x)in our school but never have I heard them mention anything about them. I want to bring the awareness back into my school and possibly other schools and my community.

Plan of Action

My personal plan of action is to set up an awareness assembly for my high school and our neighboring middle school. Promote the yellow ribbon posters and put more up. Hopefully I can convince my principal to do a Yellow Ribbon Awareness Day!
