The Problem

I am involved in the latino community. My goal is to help children become more aware of their studies and do good in school. many times parents have no time to help their kids or spend time with them and I want to be someone they can rely on and count on so they dont feel pressured in anything they do.

Plan of Action

We started this program three years ago. It is expanding as the years come across. I was one of the few that got involved in it and continue to do it every year. Just listening to the parents compliments and talking to the childrens teachers about their academics means that we are helping that seed grow. I feel that every little drop of gratitude is worth it and that just reading to a kid or help them with their math helps them come more secure in thier studies and in what they do.
