The Problem

Many children in Colombia have fallen victim of poverty, abuse, and terrorism. An organization set up by the Catholic Archdiocese in Medellin, Colombia is dedicated to helping these children. This organization, Hogares Infantiles San José, has five homes that provide shelter, food, and education to the impoverished and orphaned children. They are in constant need of monetary donations, clothing, and volunteers.

Plan of Action

I am going to major in Business and International Relations. That way I can use my degree to work for these girls. I plan to raise money for the homeless children in Colombia, especially those involved with Hogares Infanitles San José, on an international level. I would also like to take American volunteers to the homes in the future.
