With high school graduation comes celebrations and all too often these celebrations have a tragic ending involving alcohol and drugs. To prevent this, Project Graduation gives Van Buren High School graduates an option to celebrate in a safe chem-free environment whether it be on a class trip or lock-in.

Inspired by Seth Godin, What's Next is like the big ideas of the next generation in a book, but everyone's under 25. We're curating a free ebook and a special print edition to benefit charity. We're trying to make youth voices heard. Young people have stories to tell and big ideas to share, so we're offering them a media platform to be heard. Right now we already plan on doing the project as an e-book. But it would so amazing if people could actually see the ideas of young people in print.

St. Cecilia's is an inner city church in south St. Louis and home to a vibrant hispanic community. The preschool at St. Cecilia's had been closed for three years and the parish was looking to reopen it in time for school August. By June, they had no clue how they were going to get the dilapidated basement preschool ready in time for the school year. This is where me and my best friend stepped in. We took on the challenge and I'm so happy we did.

Give animals the proper things needed to live everyday. In my communtiy many animals are left stranded on the streets or starved to death by their owner. One who journeys to Humphreys County will see animals stranded everyday. Its really sad and not right, the owners or other people should be responsible and take care of these animals that deserve to have a place to live and eat.

In today's world, children and adults with disabilties are constantly discriminated against. Mental and physical disabilities are wrongfully considered comical and disrespectful words alluding to disabilities are used daily. In school, I hear jokes and laughter that could not possibly be less funny: the word "retarded" is not meant to be a simple synonym for stupid. Quite honestly, the word should not be used at all in a derogatory sense. With my project, I am trying to educate others about disabilities and about the wrongs of using such hurtful terms.
