You think you can't do anything to save lives? Think again! Everyday there are so many people who need blood to stay healthy and alive. Blood Source is one Blood Bank that helps people (us) give something so valuable to others who need it. It is estimated that almost everyone, at one time or another will need blood. It can save their life. Imagine that a loved one you are very close to needed blood. Wouldn't you do everything in your power to help them? El Salvador is the smallest country in Central America, just south of Guatemala. Like many Latin American developing countries they have a large income gap, poorly funded schools, and little job availability. In Yamabal, my small pueblo, the main sources of income are farming and cows. Our high school has less than 100 students who come from the smaller villages that surround the town. I am focusing on students in the individual family. Food, clothing, and shelter are the most essential parts of living especially in a developing country.

H.E.A.L.T.H for Youths, Inc. was formed for the charitable and educational purposes of relieving the poor, distressed and underprivileged; combating community deterioration and juvenile delinquency; and advancing education by improving the quality of education, health care and life-skills training offered to underserved adolescents and young adults. In furtherance of this purpose, H.E.A.L.T.H for Youths will collaborate with non-profit organizations which have after-school and weekend programs to provide workshops in the areas of physical health, mental health and life-skills.

Many teens want to volunteer their time to a worthy cause but at the same time have it be something they enjoy doing. This organization is trying to provide artistic teens with great opportunities to help people in their community such as underprivileged children, the elderly, sick children, etc.
