We are creating a statewide youth-led suicide prevention coalition in Montana. We will work together to come up with creative media projects to be used in schools and communities across the state. The goal is to reduce the stigma of depression/seeking help, increase awareness of the issue of suicide in Montana and what other youth can do to help.

This November the Student Wellness Advocacy Team (also known as theSWATeam) at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire is creating a campus-wide celebration of tobacco free practices. Leading up to the event, tobacco cessation programs and interactive educational activities will be held on campus to encourage current tobacco users to quit.
The kick-off activity, "No Butts About It," involves collecting cigarette butts from around campus and creating an eye-catching display to illustrate the environmental impact that cigarettes have when flicked onto the ground.

I go to a daycare with children ranging from 1-11 and I teach them American Sign Language(ASL). I try to keep them interested in learning about the deaf community. When I go to volunteer with them they want to be there instead of out playing in the streets or getting themselves into trouble.

The Diana Karger Latino Childcare Cooperative will give free childcare to working Latino mothers for the entire workday. We ask that meals (lunch, snacks and the occasional dinner) be prepared by a few families most co-op days. There will be fun activities including trips to the park, to the surrounding lakes and rivers, and to amusement parks. There will be many educational activities including lessons on the benefits of healthy eating, the importance of staying in school, and solutions to participation in gang violence. the key age range for co-op participation is 5 years to 12 years.

I am going to build 8 picnic tables for my school, to be placed near the football field concession. I am doing this for my Boy Scout Eagle project. My high school currently has a population of over 70% students on free or reduced lunch, primarily hispanic and Haitian nationalities. Currently there is no place other than the bleachers that we can sit and eat, relax, etc during various sports and other school activities, such as Relay for Life and the Special Olympics events my school sponsors.

Hi my name is Malcolm Mays and I'm a young filmmaker who's being presented the oppurtuniy to create his first full length feature film. The subject matter of my film is about my personal dealings with the violent racial tensions between Black and Latino youth in the Los Angeles school systems and its surrounding communities. This tension has now became a serious problem in the life of the youth of not only LA but all over America's poverty stricken neighborhoods.
