I am creating and planning annual High School Talent Shows throughout my community. The shows will be to help help fund raise money to donate to the VH1 Save the Music Foundation. All proceeds from the talent shows will be directly donated to the foundation.
The Save the Music Foundation funds schools who are in need of instruments and materials for music classes. I chose this foundation because I believe that music plays a very influential role in children's lives today and the foundation helps ensure that kids have this experience.

Working to build community among the girls in Wilderness Works, a nonprofit that serves economically disadvantaged kids in the Atlanta area. Goals include working together to design community gardens in various housing projects and learning to stay fit and eat and live healthy on a low budget.

Judgment house is an eight to nine scene walk through drama hosted by teens for teens. it is designed to steer todays youth away from crimeful acts and sinful behavior. The drama will introduce our guests to several different people and their bad or good decisions and their consequences. It is a life changing experience that will have our fellow youth looking at their lives and desiring a change for the better!

COURAGE stands for Committee on University relations advancing Greater equity at The University of Georgia. It is a new initiative designed to support, promote and advance equity across all avenues of oppression. It is a tol for expresion and action. Faculty, students and staff will be invited to join this important group which will take "COURAGE" to make things happen!

We held our 3rd annual Community Family Fun Day in April, which has tripled in size. We began this project as a way to get ours students involved in a fundraising effort for a non-profit organization that could use our help. The first two years we raised money for Heifer International, and this year we raised money for our local animal shelter. The local SPCA came out with their adoption mobile and we found homes for all the kittens and 4 puppies.
