donating to animal shelters is a must.
but pet stores not so much. i feel bad for the animals in pet stores but alot of pet stores suppoert puppy mills. and well thats not so good.
but shelters are saving animals =] so thats alright

Donate! they need everythingggg. Toys, food, water and food dishes, etc..
Right.. I encouraged everyone to adopt a pet from animal shelter instead of buy them from the breeders. I don't agree when some people rather spent hundreds and thousands dollars just for a puppy, while you can use the money for donation/the shelter. It just sick thinking about how many dogs, cats and any other animals have to die in orer to control their populations and nobody wants them.. just sick how people are soooo selfish!
SO TRUE!!! I adopted a dog from an animal shelter and sponsored another(donating money to pay the adoption fee so that a dog wont be killed) only $25 each! That's less then I spend getting my hair done ;) Seriously, why can't everyone cut back on something they waste money on like eating out & renting movies and save a life.
