Bullying & Harassment - By David Edward Oliver, BS.

I admit when I was growing up at school I was bullied alot because I was different. But I attended a private school and the teachers took care of the problem. I admit it was my religious upbringing and faith that keep me from doing something horrible. I would always think "What Would Jesus Do?" it helped me out a lot. But I know many kids are not religious. That is fine. I do not wish to push my faith on them. I just want you to know that things will always get better; don't give up hope. What you need is something to live for. To me it was my Baptist Faith; but for you it could be anything. Find something greater than yourself to believe in and work with. Whatever works for you. In fact "Do Something" website is great for finding something to do. If you need a friend to talk too who is tolerant, accepting and non-judgemental please e-mail me at this address. "If my people which are called by my name shall humble themselves and pray and turn from their wicked ways then I shall hear from heaven, forgive their sins and heal their land," (Isaiah 7:14)

I got to give you alot of props for being such a positive person. It's hard to be picked on and stay as positive and strong in your belief system. But, it seems you have alot going for you and that helping people will be your calling. Good luck with that and definately thank God for that positive personality. High school and school in general may be rough but once your comfortable enough being who you are it's so much better.
