Can bullying be stopped? How?

Have you guys seen the video of that teen being beat up by five girls? They cut her hair, burned her with a car lighter, and pummeled her. All because of a boy...
Now those girls are facing some major charges! And the victim has multiple injuries ... It sounds like bullying is pretty common these days. Can it be stopped? How? What are your ideas?
Bullying is a thing that will always be in life, just like violence, some people just cant handle what is happening around them.
I AGREE WITH beccahkissit bullying and violence and there are ways to prevent it but they aren't certain start sticking up for yourself and the people around you don't put up with stuff just BE YOU!!!!!
i dont think this could be stoped because there alot of drama teens have and depending on the people yea some m,ayy stop the drama and some mayy not cause there some girl teenagers that wont end things until they fiqht the peoplee .. .. soo myy advice too any one is stay to your self andd dont get into all that violenceee
When it comes to horrible acts of violence like that, it shows that there is lack of awareness in the community. As teenagers it's important that we believe in a cause and act on it. When is comes to abuse, it means we support no form of it. This means gossip too, we have to commit to not spreading or allowing it in our environment. For people who are beaten on in schools, they could use friends surrounding them and protecting them.
Not a lot of people know about what's called the pyramid of hate. It starts out as whats considered "jokes and prejudice attitudes. Then after a while, comes the acts of prejudice. Along with that, comes discrimination and violence. Finally this creates genocides.
Bullying can be stopped but not by this new law that allows teachers to carry guns but by installing cameras in schools. every child wants to go to school and have a regular day but then their day is ruined by a ignoramus of a person who decides " hey im going to pound on this kid for no reason ". The kid is bruised and the faculty are confused. install camera's or another kid just like me and you will get hurt maybe even killed just because nobody took precautions. We live in the greatest country in the world lets prove it.

The person who is being bullied is afraid to tell an adult and I think that is because they think they are snitching and they get into bigger problems. But thats where everyone is wrong you should definetly tell an adult you can trust or tell the school. They willl help you.
