ehh...

Back to 'Environment' forum.

I've been trying to save more energy at my house by keeping things unplugged and keeping the lights off, but i can't get the rest of my family to go along with it.
I've also been thinking about recycling more but we dont have a place for the recycled things!!
Help?

The best wayy isz to talk to your family and knock some sense into them because I highly doubt that they will listen unless you keep bringing up the situation. You should see where you can get recycle bins or ask neighbors if they have recycle bins and where they got them. Me and my family recycle alot, but they are complete energy wasters. They leave lights on, systems on, our computer, t.v's too. I mean come on work with me here. I can't do this on my own. Lolz the truth isz people either wayy are not going to Obey.

my fam isn't totally on board the Eco Train (lolz) either. but my city doesn't use recycling bins mostly ppl just end up using the plastic bags they get from like Target it's what we do too cuz the bags end up getting recycled 2 :) hope i could help

Okay, you can be creative while being "Green". You can turn tin cans into pencil holders or vases. You can go to your local junk shop and sell used newspaper and bottles. And instead of using paper bags from the Market, you can have those "Green bags". They come always come in handy wherever you go. Just use your imagination when it comes to recycling and you can save a lot more.
