Has online bullying gone too far?
In the days of Myspace and Facebook being used to torture and tease teens, has online bullying gone too far? I've seen multiple fake pages created to embarrass others and they go from being mean to just cruel and evil. What do you think?- Your Friendly DoSomething Intern!Email this page

people can be so mean! make sure that you AND none of your friends are engaging in online bullying. if you know someone who is being bullied online, let somebody know! the more that we expose this problem, the more that we can do about it.
personally, i'm not sure what motivates people to do these kinds of things in the first place. if you know somebody who is a cyber bully maybe ask them why they do it and why they think it's productive. sounds cheesy, but seriously. it's hard for me to imagine why somebody would do this. maybe they need help themselves.
i agree. It's wrong and hatful to bully others, in any case. Sometimes bulling has to do with life stories, adding in abuse and divorce which can have a harmful effect on a child's life. That's one of the causes of bulling. And the only one that i can think of :).
I think that sometimes people don;t even realize that they are bullies. Sometimes people are just sitting around, having fun with friends--and then do something mean. But they don't stop and think about how that will make another person feel. (And NOBODY likes to feel like crap--even those popular mean girls are afraid of older girls or certain teachers, etc...)
i think it has gone very far and i think we should find some way to stop it..i mean there has been teen sucide deaths because of cryber bullying..and i think its just horrible that someone would do that because of that..i think us teens should think of something to do to stop this..
