i was in a really bad hurricane just a couple of years ago. we lost power for over 2 and a half weeks and were out of school for 12 days!! luckily, we knew the storm was coming and had stocked up on water, snacks, and firewood to keep the house warm. not everybody though was as lucky as we were. lots of natural disasters are unexpected or have a LOT worse consequences.
I know wat you mean. im currently 13 and boy i have lived everywere. and i lived in california for like 6 years(i was born there) and boy the worst earthquak happened and like a week later there was a tornado and walking out side was the saddest thing of life it was like walking through new orlands after a really bad hurrican(just wit out the water) i know wat u mean when there r worst consequesces out there. life is fulled wit them and the best we can do is tryy to be ready and help others in time of need.
I was in Hurricanes Rita, and Gustav. I left for Gustav do to mandatory evacuation but for Rita there were many tornadoes and it was really horrifying. I live in Louisiana and never again will I be riding out a hurricane! Too scary and dangerous!
the worst ive been through is proboly hurrican catrina. i lived in a town house it was scary. the lights and heat went out and we were stuck there for like three days. and when we finnaly got out we hered that a tree fell on my cusins' grandparents teallor. the trallor was actually my familys when i was first born and i lived there till i was like three, four years old. and then the second one would have to be when it rained on my cusins zacks birthday and it rained so hard that it flooded the streets. the water came up to my knees! but on the bight side we got to go swimming.
The worst "natural disaster" i have ever experienced is the disaster our economy has become. It is natural because almost the entire world believes that there can be nothing done about it. In order to prove the world wrong I have created LIEA (Loyalty to the Immigrationalized/Importified Employer Act) to help out the entire world but like all natural disasters: there can only be responses made. LIEA is my and all whom have signed its petitions only way to responed to our economical disaster. Seemingly it is natural, but with your help and a total of 10,000 signatures we may be able to do more about our economy than just watch it get worse for the "little people" in the pyramid of capitalism. Hurricanes Katrina and Hugo were very harmful, but they only lasted a short amount of time; where as our economy has caused people to struggle to live for endless decades. You folks tell me of another solution to our problem; if you can't then you have a duty to support LIEA. Find out what it is and then further its needed awareness.
Sincerely, Jeremy Hawks

I'm a victim of the April 27th tornadoes. My whole roof had to be replaced and my entire town was destroyed. :(
I have not. But, I could sort of imagine how it would be. my prayers go out to all of the people who went through this.
