theres an aspca shelter near me and recently theyve gotten 83 parakeets and earlier in the summer they got a few doezen cats all by the same person!
i was wondering if ppl had ne ideas on how to get the word out about adopting or had ideas on how to raise money for them.

Well our local news station has teamed up with our local aspca shelter. They have a certain day were they pick a special animal they find most likely to be adopted and they take it to the station. They do a little story line on the animal and its history and give it a lot of camera time. Then they tell people that there will be a local adopathon and give out all that information live. hi accualy i volenter at my local shelter and i do it for the animals not to show the animals on tv i accualy go to the local fair it helps because the money they get from selling the shirts they sell so this time for the fair I am going to the fair to help raise money so maybe you can talk to them and see if they want to go to the fair and try and help them get a spot.
ok. for 1 that dude is cazy 80 something parets and a duzen cats, wholey cow!!!!!! for 2 put an auction add in the newspaper and see who comes and u can auction them off. or just sell the parets to the zoo and give the cats to old ladys. just joking. :)
