Abortion is the mothers choice, and whether we like it or not, we shouldn't impose on her right. And yes, I'm aware that the baby is alive while in the womb and killing it could be considered murder. But, I am also aware that God gave each human his own FREE will. One, might I remind you, that even He cannot control.[he said it himself]And even if you don't believe in God, we should know by now not to let the gov't control us in that way. It is a personal decision, and it should stay that way.
But why should we be the ones to decide to take away the free will of the child? I'm almost 100% sure that if the baby could talk, that he/she would NOT like to have their life taken from them. Abortion is not okay, and we need to stop brainwashing people saying that it is.
This is a touchy subject, because obviously it is murder and it isn't fair to that child to not give it a chance to live. You have to see the other side, lets say you're 16 and you're pregnant, your baby's father leaves and you have no job, no money, nothing. Well then is it fair for that mother to try and raise that baby on nothing? Not really, I am also aware there is such a practice as adoption, but what if you found out your baby lived in an orphanage for 18 years then went out on their own with nothing? Honestly sometimes that is the only answer for a young girl, I'm not saying that makes it right before you all decide to rip me apart for that. It is reality that it happens and sometimes is the only answer for a young girl not ready for motherhood or pregnancy... That's just life.
Live to dream.
The most common factor is that birth control costs nearly thirty to fifty dollars a month, many women can’t afford these high of costs. The majority of the forty-five million uninsured in this country are women. Most generics contain only eighty percent of the ingredients/hormones that brand name birth controls possess and many insurance company policies mandate generic contraceptives. That makes absolutely no sense! Poor and uninsured women are too often told “tsk tsk” for getting pregnant and not being able to financially care for the child, yet if they obtain an abortion that is wrong as well. Women deserve to have the ability to make a choice. Here is a simple solution, offer these women the effective, brand name contraceptives that they deserve! Now, that wasn’t so hard, was it?
As of 2008, abortions are at the lowest rate since the mid 1970’s. If politicians and citizens cared about the inadequate access to health care, female poverty, honest sex education, birth control, and sexual violence, the need for abortion would be reduced even more. Instead, access to healthy contraceptives and sexual education is shrinking. More than a billion dollars has been spent to fund “abstinence only” education.
As for extreme pro-life supporters, there is a difference between activism and terrorism. Talks between both groups, pro-choice supporters and pro-life supports, should be civil and respectful. When the argument of abortion as murder is used towards pro-choice supporters, it does not make any sense as a terrorist pro-life supporter to bomb and to murder the people working in women’s clinics.
Interesting fact: The United States is a nation with great potential for egalitarian ideals, and yet the human rights of women and the values that they deserve are still a work in progress.
A woman who obtains an abortion should never feel shame.
A woman who makes a choice should never feel alone
A woman should never be silenced.
without abortion, my life would be a mess, my mother would be dead, it is not fair to judge!!
do any of you have any idea what it was like before abortion was legal? women having abortions in alleys, often dying during the process, Dr.s performing with coathangers, do you want that? there's a reason why they made it legal, and you need to think about that before you go judging them on the hardest decision thay ever made!
think about the whole picture! every woman's situation is different, and she should be able to make the decision herself, keep your rosaries off my ovaries!!

uhh? hmm I don't agree with abortion because it is murder, but I do agree that it is a person's right to decide what they think is best....
