Is Abortions right?

I feel as if it is murder without jailtime. It kills innocent children who were labeled as mistakes. Which is not good at all, they should not be
killed for your mistakes. They should be put up for adoption until
they parents are fully capiable
of taking care of the children.
I am for sure many
of ou disagree with some off my ideas or
statement. but even the bible
doesn't encourage abortions.
COMMENT AND TELL ME WHAT YOU THINK AND IF I AM WRONG.

hmm yeah adoption is an option.. i know it was for me.. shoot everything was an option... i just encourage you to watch the waters you treadd in, especially if you have not been in the situation. :/
without abortion, my life would be a mess, my mother would be dead, it is not fair to judge!!
do any of you have any idea what it was like before abortion was legal? women having abortions in alleys, often dying during the process, Dr.s performing with coathangers, do you want that? there's a reason why they made it legal, and you need to think about that before you go judging them on the hardest decision thay ever made!
think about the whole picture! every woman's situation is different, and she should be able to make the decision herself, keep your rosaries off my ovaries!!

I agree, yes it is up to the woman herself to make the choice and that there are certain situations that make the "right and wrong" issue a little diferent. I am personaly aginst abortion and have always thought that there were other/better options, but I recently found out my mother had one when I was 5 years old. I'm 19 now, as I sat down and listened to my mom's very hurtful story I saw that she didn't really have any other choice, at the time her and my real dad had been split up for 3years, and mom had starting dating agin. My mom was raped by her boyfriend and he was beating her as well, she was also going through some finincal problems. I now see that there are exception to every rule and well..every moral. If you haven't been in the situation nor have you had someone very close to you in the situation then don't judge and never say never because you NEVER know how you will react in any given situation untill you are in the situation.
First if all, abortion is murder. It is a human life, a little person. If someone is able to have sex, if they aren't "too young" or "too busy" then they are not "too young" or "too busy" to have a child. Adoption is an option. I totally agree with you. Everyone should listen to the song "Happy Birthday" by Flipsyde. That is the kind of depression and regret many people who have had an abortion face.

my mother had an abortion because birthing the child would have meant that the child would have died for sure, and she had well over a 50% chance of dying as well.
Abortion is wrong. I'm sorry but it is. Do you guys seriously know what happens during an abortion? It is horrifying. Beyond horrifying. They detatch the baby's body from it's head and then they crush the head to get it out. And the baby has no say in it whatsoever. People want women to have the right to choose but the baby has no say in the matter.

There is a certain amount of time a woman has to have one.
If I found out I was pregnant today, and in four days I got an abortion, I would be ridding a clump of NON LIVING CELLS from my uterus.
I agree with you 100%. Everyone deserves to live a full life. God gives life to everything and He can take it away. God gave us life even though we did not deserve it. God sent His own son, while we were yet sinners Christ died for us.
Not to be hateful but it is a right. Rather it is wrong or right is up to that person. For me it is wrong. Yes there are other options such as adoption or keeping the baby but life isn't black and white. I do not think people have the right to judge each other and call people stupid for believing something other than yourself. You will not change peoples minds and hearts that way. Not to be quoting the bible but Jesus said "Instead of looking at the speck in someone else's eyes try looking at the plank in yours." It went something like that. He was speaking of the woman who was a prostitute and she was about to be stoned. He drew that line. He loved her even for her mistakes. I suggest you try to love and understand people and not critisize them.
Nobody is perfect. Everybody believes different things. I am glad you are passionate about what you believe and want to fight for it. But try to explain yourself in a more loving and understanding way. That is what God would want.

Every women has a choice, and that's the way it should be. I understand where your coming form with the whole adoption thing, but think about how many of those children aren't adopted and put into "the system"? Foster homes are spelling over with children, and sorry to say some foster parents only do it for the money and could really careless.
Another reason why i believe women should have the choice is because over 10,000 women in the US alone are raped each year,and many of these cases result in pregnancy. Can you imagine the pain theses females deal with on a daily basis, being violated, and also being held responsible for a baby that reminds her of that very incident. I fully understand that the baby shouldn't be punished for the mother being raped, its not his/her fault. But should the mother in turned be punished by being forced to carry that baby for 9 months?
No it is not alright it is like killing and not getting in trouble for it.i think that it is worng...if u are willing to do things like that and get pregrent then i think thay u should have to keep the baby...it ur fault that if u get pregrent ur the one that laid on ur back and didnt say no....so i say if u can do it then u are responisble for the kid.. they never done anything to you...

Abortion is not wrong. People have the right to choose whether or not they want to live with a mistake that they made. Abortion should be the opinion of the women actually pregnant, instead of older men in the government who rule by what they think is right, when they have never experienced childbirth

It's a person’s choice. What right do I have to make that decision for them because at the end of the day they have to go to there home etc...I'm a peer educator for Planned Parenthood and I teach my peers all through out the country on safe sex, contraception, and healthy relationships hoping they would be smart so that they won't have to have an abortion. What ever situation they are in, by choice or not I support their decision It's there life and there body. What works for me doesn’t always work for others.

I was forced to have an abortion after I was raped by my rapist & that is what made me decide that abortion is not an option.
Abortion is a sticky subject and I think we should all be careful about the way we express ourselves. We cannot openly call people who have an abortion "stupid". Ashlee92-You call people stupid yet you have not defended your point of view at all. I recommend you to pick up a dictionary next you post a comment. You choice of words lack any sense. But back to the subject, there are many more underlying societal issues that cause people to have an abortion. (1)If we really want to prevent young women from getting pregnant, our government should offer more resources to teenagers. Many public high schools lack the resources to educate their student of safe sex. (2) We should also implement more options for women who become pregnant. Young teenagers turn to abortion because they lack a financial stability. I could go on to name more societal issues but I hope people will try to look at the core of what is causing abortions and not simply the layer of icing on top of the cake.
It really depends on if the mother is capable of taking care of the child or not. I know adotption would be the best thing, but if you look at reality, not many people adopt. Or at least not enough. When someone wants kids, they want thier own kids because they look like them. Some kids spend almost thier whole lives in orphanages and foster homes waiting to be adopted. And the older they get, the less chance that someone will want them. Now let's assume the child stays with the mom. If she has proper support to help care for the kid, then that's great. But if it's a teen pregnacy and the dad dumps her and her family doesn't help and/or doesn't exist at all, she'd be stuck trying to raise it on the streets. You just have to ask yourself if you'd rather the child not be born or if it should have a chance at life, even if it sucks. I really don't like the idea of killing babies, but in some cases, it may be the better thing to do. My advice, DON'T GET PREGNANT IN THE FIRST PLACE.
i have read through most of the comments, and the words that jump out at me when you disagree with abortion are 'its killing an innocent child.' but, in fact, its not killing, and its not a child. and its not even living.
1) its not killing: the abortion doctor REMOVES the unborn fetus. the fetus is not living, the woman that it is inside of, is living. therefore, nothing is dead.
2) its not a child: a child is a being that has been born. so, the fetus is not a child.
3) its not living: if the mother is supplying it with everything it needs before it is born, then it doesnt live. the mother supplies it with blood, a heartbeat, and nutrients.
think of the fetus as an adult hooked up to a machine that feeds him/her, supplies him/her with blood, and breaths for him/her. how is that life? its not. and legally, the woman should have the right to do what she wants with her own body. no one has the right to take away another living beings right. therefore, abortion should stay legal. sure, adoption may be a better choice, but abortion should still be an option for the woman. if she had the right to have sex, then she should have the right to an abortion if she gets pregnant. its her body, and no one has the right to tell an adult woman to go through with something that she is uncomfortable with. even if the woman tat wants an abortion is, lets say, 15, wants an abortion, she should not be turned down because it is her body, and she legally has the rights to do what she pleases with her body. or, what if the girl was raped? i dont know this from experience, but i have a pretty good idea that she would not whatever is inside of her. the fetus thats inside her probably would bring up a touchy subject, and she may not feel right, and she probably wont want something inside her that wasnt planned to be there. a woman deserves the right to have an abortion. if not, then women are going to try to hurt themselves, or do whatever they can to get the fetus outside of her body.
Yes, but what few abortion doctors will tell you is that the fetus (If not so barbarically removed) can live outside the womb for several minutes while trying to breath.
Most people don't even know how an abortion works. I would hope that whomever supports it would realize what really goes on and what it can me for the women getting the abortion as well as what happens to the fetus.
I understand your plea about rape victims but even then two wrongs don't make a right. Women are a lot stronger then that, and there are places you can go to get help. I just wish more people knew that.

NO! abortion is not right! Not right at all! If you become pregnant and want an abortion it's that person's fault! When you have sex, you know that there is a chance you can get pregnant. Protected or unprotected. You shouldn't be surprised if you get pregnant. Abortion is killing a little baby! Born or unborn it is killing...:(
One may say getting abortions is wrong or right. However, I feel one can not judge another if that person have not experienced what the other went through or what situation they are in at that moment. Personally, I feel as if abortions are wrong and it is sort of like pre-meditated murder (becuase that particular person thought about killing a fetus which has human characteristics and is a living thing). However i feel as if no one can be judgemental because anyone can end up in that situation and may change their whole view of abortions.
And for everyone that said that abortions do is not murdering a baby, you are wrong. If you were smart when you were in ninth or tenth grade when you took biology, you would kno that a fetus is a living thing. There are cahracteristics of a living thing:organization, reproduction,adjust to surroundings,growth and development, and made of cells and more. So for all you that dont know, you need to look it up and get the facts about a fetus and stop making up stuff.....

We need to be open-minded and not so quick to say "Abortion is murder.", "Abortion is wrong." Anyway, women have the right to decide what they want to do with their bodies. Consider this: There are far more babies born per day than women having abortions. (:
First of all i respect that every woman does have the right to do what they want with ther bodies. But what i am against is when teens abort right after having sex with some guy they don't know or because they were at a party not being responsible. My aunt knew a lady who was a nurse at an abortion clinic and she said young girls would come with their mothers to get an abortion and then months later they would come back as if it was a normal thing to do. I understand eeryone has a different situation going on but having an abortion because of your own mistake is not right. Teens should be more responsible and think before they do something because it's not fair that a life has to pay for your mistakes. who knows that baby could have been the next mother teresa or einstein.

Well in my opinion abortion is a choice and im not against it. Sometimes there are situations where you need to get an abortion. For example my mother was pregnant but if she had had the child it would have died and so would she. In that situation she had to get an abortion. You should not bring the bible into abortion because then your assuming that everyone follows your religion or shares your beliefs. There are other times when I think it is okay like rape. Some people may say that you can give it up for adoption but and that is a good idea but you also need to think about the woman. How is she feeling? Physically, emotionally & mentally.And again it is YOUR choice. You really shouldnt judge until you have been through the situation yourself. Everyone has a reason. Everyone has a right to thier own opinioin...
I don't believe I can necessarily say that it's "Right" or "Wrong" because this issue is something that is very situational. If you can not afford to raise the child and you know that if you brought a child into this world it'll have a horrible life, yet you can't handle the idea of going through 9 months of carrying a child and having to give it away I can see how an abortion would seem more appealing. I don't think abortions are right because yeah, it is kind of messed up. But I also don't see it as wrong because sometimes its whats best for the situation at hand/future. I'm going to have to say I'm more pro-choice though.
All right people, listen up! Abortions ARE SO WRONG you have no idea!!! Abortion is MURDER of an innocent HUMAN child, that can't even defend itself! It's like shooting a dog while it's asleep, only a BILLION times worse!! If you're going to have sex, then be responsible! If you don't want to get pregnant use a condom or birth control, or better yet, wait until you're married to have sex! I agree with you 100%! If someone is not ready to possibly be a parent then they shouldn't have sex. Abortion should be illegal. It is a very unfair choice that nobody should be allowed to make. I believe if you can't or do not want to raise a child, you should choose adoption. There are many people out there less fortunate that would like to have a child but are unable to. So why not give them a chance.

well, the best thing to do is confront her parents. You cant walk away from this, and abortion isn't the answer...It was kinda both of your mistakes, and the baby shouldn't have to suffer like that... Adoption is an answer though.

Nobody is being discriminating...Some people just think that abortion goes against a religion, which in my case it does. You are though, right about how its your life and you should choose, but there are other ways of fixong things...example= adoption. Also for letting being pregnant happen, well people should be more careful you know (nothing against anyone) but we all have choices, and for future children sake we all must be careful.

You cannot impose Christian morals upon everyone. Not everyone is of those "certain religions," and you have to keep in mind that there really ought to be a separation of church and state. Any argument against abortion that is based in religion is illegitimate.

It is not murder removing a 3 week clump of nonliving cells. If it cannot survive on it's own, it is not a baby.
Should abortions be illegal after a certain point within the pregnancy, YES, but, at 1 month, 2 months, 3 months, if I were to give birth, it isn't surviving it will die.
