Is it worse to inadvertently support puppy mills or to save a puppy?

Is it worse to support puppy mills (even if you don't want to) than it is good to save a puppy? Although people often say to adopt from shelters more than go to a pet store, what should be done about saving those animals in pet stores?

I wish I had an answer to what should be done to those puppies in pet stores. But I think it is worse to support puppy mills. Even if you think you are saving a puppy, you are helping a puppy mill thrive, causing more inhumane breeding. To try and keep puppy mills from staying in business, you should adopt.

Puppy Mills are a cruel and unsafe way to breed puppies. I think that we should do whatever we can to stop Puppy Mills from staying in business. Like how happy00paws said, just adopt. It's way safer and more confidential, and if you adopt from an organization or person you trust, it is more likely that your puppy will turn out healthy and happy. If you really want to save a puppy, DON'T support Puppy Mills!!!
