kids need to know financial stuff!!!!!!!!!!

I'm really disappointed that it seems like 1 in 200 people in their early teens know their financial stuff.

I've been lucky enough for my parents to teach me financial vocabulary and really got it into my head through a game by Robert Kiyosaki called 'Cashflow' and now I read financial books that my teachers ask if they could borrow.

I think schools or parents should actually teach kids about assets, ROI and things like that because that is part of what caused the recession; being lent FAR too much and not being able to pay it back.

Does anyone agree?

It partly depends on your career path, but yes, they should care more. Debt has to be paid back someday...

My school is doing a very good job on teaching people how to budjet and safe. I know that when I am older I will use this knowledge to help me. Everyone should be taught this. The world has gone into dept because people don't understand these few simple words: 'Don't spend more money than you have.' Ridiculous right?

I'm thinking of starting my own business(maybe), so I am learning about financial things.
Sometimes finances can be really fun! It all depends on how it's presented to you, and my mother is one of the most wonderful people in the world, and she makes everything interesting and fun!
