yes, kittens. This video says it all, it was taken in Venezuela and is considered a sport. It also happens in the United States
Woah. That is horrible. Things that really should be stopped. People who do terrible things like that either have no hearts or no brains. Either way, they are cruel morons who should be stopped.

That video is a fake created by a guy selling $20 t-shirts and claiming to be giving the profits to PETA and the Humane Society. If you really think this is real call the Humane Society or PETA and see what they say. I did. Also ask yourself why no mainstream media outlet has touched this.

I call FAKE too... The video of the kittens on the supposed hook is way different from the low quality fishing videos. The quality is way better and they never really show the hook going through it's skin (just acted). You can tell they put a little bit of fishing line around it's body and hooked the hook on that. Not to mention the water you see looks like it was filmed at the edge of a lake (YOU CAN SEE THE BANK IN THE UPPER LEFT CORNER!!)
....and listen to this line of bologna the narrator says, "One boat owner said he was helping out the Humane Society by taking hundreds of cats and kitten off their hands since they were over crowded because of global warming." then he goes on about cats and witches. but wait, cats are overcrowding because of global warming?!?! Wow, does Al Gore know about this?????
I'd call this a PETA Scammer, they'll believe any bit of video that involves animals, and they send MONEY!!! or buy this scammer's shirts!!

Okay, it's a fake videeo. If you watch it, you can see that the guy put's a hook through the cat's skin and the cat just kind of looks around like ok, can i go now? any real cat would absolutely have a coniption. What sicko makes this stuff up? Oh and animal shelters wouldn't do this they have background checks and stuff.
