Men's Health Week Question!

I think steriod use in professional sports sends completely the wrong message to fans. Athletes using steriods or performance enhancing drugs tells someone who aspires to be like them that they can't, or they will never be good enough to make it without steriods.
Someone who looks up to these athletes holds them on a pedistal. To find out that they are doing things that are explicitly against the rules of their game tells the fan to ignore rules to be the best.
Sports and the athletes who play them are supposed to send positive messages to fans about achieving their dreams. Finding out your hero uses drugs to play their game does not come with a message of hope.
