Music and Politics?

We are the generation. We are the generation that will be effected by war and our plummeting economy. We are the generation that might have to sacrifice our standard of living. We are the generation that can really make a profound effect on America. And music makes a profound effect on our generation.

Its amazing to hear what celebrities are doing these days. so many of them are using there status to help those less fortunate than them. So many of them are writing songs that really touch the heart. And others serve as muckrakers for our society.

John Mayer, Green Day and countless others are using there voice to pitch in.

If we are this generation, then why wait to make a difference?

Through a song, through a blog, through a speech you threw around with your friends. America is not a stupid country. They know talent when they see it. Our generation isfull of undiscovered talent. So do your thing, but whatever you do, DO SOMETHING!!
