Poverty And Hunger
Poverty
On An Estimate Of 25,000 People Die Every Day Because Of Hunger.
That Means One Person Dies Every 3 And A Half Seconds, And Most Of Them Are Children. Yet There Is Plenty Of Food In The World To Serve To Everyone But The Problem Is The Lack Of Money The Hungry People In Poverty Deal With On A Daily Bases, Not Having Enough Food To Nourish Themselves Or Their Families. Being Constantly Malnourished, Makes Them Weaker And Often Sick. With Them Being Weak It’s Very Hard For Them To Work Which Makes Them Less Able To Get Money To Support Themselves And Have Food. The Downward Spiral Puts Them In Risk Of Dying. There Are Very Effective Programs For Adults Called “Food For Work” Where They Work By Being Paid With Food Often By Building Schools, Roads And Digging Wells. They Have A Program For Children Called “Education For Food” Where They’re Provided Food To Go To School.
After Knowing This What Can You Do To Help?!

Thats crazy! I've always known about people going hungry in the world. We always get THE talk at dinner when were little. "Eat all your food people in china are going hungry right now. They would kill for that plate of food." I never believed any of that until I got older and could stand to watch the news without wishing I could throw something at the reporters head.
My mom and I are going to a homeless shelter this weekend to serve lunch. I know its not alot but Im only starting out. Theres not aton of places where you can help out in my tiny town so we have to drive an hour to the closest mall, homeless shelter ect. Plus gas isnt cheap.
