Recycling in Community

Back to 'Environment' forum.

I would really like to start some sort of recycling program or center in my small town.
As of now, my town makes no effort towards being "green".
I think that a method of recycling trash would be a great place to start.
Can anyone give me any tips or suggestions on what I could do get something started?

Well, i would say contact your town government or town hall or something and bring it to there attention. Post a lot of flyers around the towns. Get together with someone and do it as a project. You know? If you bring it up to the governtment it will most likely be paid for if they like it.
