Should colleges put less emphasis on international students and more on allowing underprivileged families to go to school?

Back to 'Poverty' forum.

Read up about this here. Although many schools are trying to make it easier to go to college with all different kinds of aid being offered, there is still much debate over whether or not schools should accept fewer (if any) foreign exchange students since that limits the chances for many students who cannot afford to attend certain schools. What do you think about this?

I think that colleges should accept fewer foreign exchange students if it means that fewer American students can attend college. The schools should still accept some foreign exchange students since some Americans also go to other countries to study.
