Testing on Animals? Imagine How They Feel!
Back to 'Animal Welfare' forum.
A lot of you who are reading this probably have a pet. Well Imagine this.. Your dog is having medicine injected into him to see if he has a reaction. Or imagine your hamster having shampoo tested on her to see if her fur falls out. This isnt a nightmare because for the animals that are tested on, that is their life. 50-100 MILLION animals are used each year to test products that we use. Some of the make up you use may be tested on animals. So next time you are in CVS and you reach for that new eyeshadow, think of all the fluffys and fidos that may have died for that eyeshadow that you take for granted. I'm not sayint not to wear make up, im just saying to read the label. It will say if it is tested on animals. Speak for the animals because they can't speak for themselves.

i know that is so wrong i am so sick and tired of people bein cruel to animals.. i have 2 dogs and they are well takin care of we need to start a priject and end this messs
How could young people help with this one, because I really want to help, but I'm not that great with ideas.
my cat emily was used for animal testing and caused an infection in her body. my family rescued her and got her to a vet who saved her life. the infection would otherwise have killed her.
I am so glad that you are fighting for those animals - keep it up - and everybody, remember to make sure all the products you buy are marked, "Not tested on animals!"
Maybe we should all start a peaceful protest where we spend a few hours in the shampoo and make-up sections of busy stores pointing out to people which products are safe to buy. "If it's not on the label, then we're not going to let you leave the store with it!" (lol) Who's with me? Martin Luther King started out by staging peaceful protests with just a few people at his side and look what he accomplished.
i dont think i can put my dog through that. that would be litteraly killme.
I found out that The Mars Bars company actually funds cruel animal testings. You can read here: http://blog.peta2.com/2007/09/mars_killing_animals_for_candy.html
The Mars Bars company (that makes candy like M&ms, twix, snickers, skittles, and such) refuses to stop. :( I refuse to eat any of their candy now.
I wish animal testing would stop. :(
it makes me sad that this happens, if we all just helped one animal, it would make a huge impact! =)
Animal testing is wrong. I sometimes believe it WORSE than animal abuse. This is because the pain it cause is on the inside. The poison can make an animal disabled for life. I cant believe people can look into to eyes of these animals and then put a stinging chemical into them. That reminds me more of a psychopath serial killer than a human being.
I think people also seem to forget that an animal body and a human body is not as closely related as what they think. Though there is an approximate success rate of 84%, there is a 16% rate of a product being lethal to a human. Looking at hundreds:
Out of 100 people should not harm 84 of them, but it could or will harm 16 of them.
Of course as the 100 goes up, so does the other numbers.
testing on animals is wrong. think if the people who are doing it were those animals do you think they would want to be tested on. so why are we doing it to innocent animals. its wrong and it needs to stop.
i think that testing on animals is very wrong and something should happen to make it stop. most people dont notice how cruel it is to do such things to animals just because the animals cant speak for themselves. how would the people testing on these inocent animals feel if we decided to test on them? it just wouldnt be right.
Someone Shud Go On Strikee With THat. I THink Its Totally Wrong TO Even GO Near AN Animal With A Needle Filled With Human Substances FOr Testing.
