The lack of caring in craft

Do we care anymore? More and more for high schoolers it's getting easier to choose the easier root. The internet has given us mind-dulling youtube where we can watch our favorite shows, coupled with mind rotting drugs. I feel like these distractions from things we love like reading, drawing, and music are the reasons that the arts are becoming so desensitized. People aren't caring about their craft and choose the easiest way at the expense of the generation's culture. I feel like my generation needs to get off our couches and laptops and start caring about something instead of just sliding along.
