What are we to do?

As a child i was always bullied. i know it needs to stop. as a result of bullying kids end up killing themselves or dying because they cut themselves, do drugs, or drink. And on anathor topic of abuse. I live in a school distrct where kids are constanly abused. I have been through that. I came through and tolsd somebody. But I think that the level of abuse has to do with the increasingly low morals of Americans. And another thing prejudice aginst people because they are from the middle east is just dumb. Not all people from the middle east are terriorists. Im half issle eastern and my family are some of the nicest most caring people. I mean honestly what are we to do?
There's a lot of people in this world whos minds you just can't change no matter what you do. The most you can do is talk to the people in your neighborhood and stand up for those who are being bullied. It will make them feel good that someone is there for them. I know from experience.
The good thing is that you told people about your own experience. The one thing that I think will help though is if you talk personally to the people who are getting bullied. Its good for them to hear that they're not the only ones going through something.
My friend has been bullied in school lots of times because of the way she is. Which has lead her to cutting and thinking about killing herself like you had mentioned in your post. The best thing I could do was talk to her about it and just be the ear for her to vent too. It did help her more than you may think. And just keep the parents aware of it. Kids don't want to tell their parents everything when it comes to things like this, so just giving them the heads up and saying hey this is whats happening I think you should talk to them will be good.
