Is this what our society is coming to? To become hatful and judgemental? Not evrybody is perfect, but if you are gay then you should be allowed to marry that person whom you love and want to spend your life with. There is absolutly nothing wrong with being gay, lebsian, transgener, transvestive, or anything of that sort. If you have weight problems then you should be allowed to just be like that. Not everybody has to be a size 0. And just because someone isnt white, doesnt mean they are less of a person than you. I am lebanese/Italian and im still as much as a person as everyone else.I think that from America's history people would have learned from that but appearently not. And if we dont fix this there are going to be HUGE problems in the future. Its horrible how hateful this country has gotten.
I completely agree. My mom was born in New York but grew up in puerto rico but her mom is puerto rican and my dad was born in puerto rico. I think people just have a hard time with people of different race. It does tend to piss you off, I know it ticks me off. Not only is race a problem but being gay,lesbian,bi,trans has always been a problem. I am bisexual and I've been judged and made fun of cuz of that too. My family has no clue, and if they found out I'd be kicked out of my house for sure. I really don't see what the big deal is, just because we don't feel the same way you do we get discriminated against.
Its true that in today society can be judgmental. I know that for me being bisexual and Hispanic that I don't focus on the part of society that looks down on me but rather the part that just doesn't care who I am as long as I am happy. You can't change society over night or even in 5 years because no one is ever going to think alike and that is just reality. I don't want to waste my time trying to be in a society that won't accept me unless I change and I know that I can't change who I am because I don't feel that I have to. I am me and if that's not good enough for society than I won't be apart of the society that says I am not good enough for them.
Yeah I'm there too, if you go to my school you'll her me goin around all day talkin about how people are going crazy. But the thing is,there's always been a problem with people being jugdemental. It's because we're human beings, we can't help judging people sometimes that's just the way the mind works, but through self growth you can change your own thinking. And when you lead,just like with anything else, others will fallow!!! Keep your head up chica the change begins with YOU!!!!! Show this World what humans are capable of -all ya gotte do is "Kill a Mocking Bird!!

I am a white American that has lived in America all my life. For the past 5 years I and my family have struggled to keep jobs because of the ever changing economy. I have lost 5 out of 6 jobs partially due to the employer siding with immigrants or foriegn (cheaper) products. I know that a country is formed through immigrants, but once it is fully formed the immigrants actually start to harm our society more than helping it. Look at North Carolina for example: all the hispanics/Mexicans are able to accept lower paying wages so therefore the employers discriminate against the "white man" just because they are not "hispanic looking". Wayne Farms for example denies that they hire hispanics over Americans; LIERS!, roughly 85% of their labor force is hispanic. The same can be said for Wal-Marts massive outsourcing that destroys our economy. They used to be "All American Made" now they are almost entirely imported! Since our country is formed to survive on its own, and since immigrants, imported products and services continue to destroy our lives there must be something done about it. That is why I have created LIEA. And that is why hundreds of people have signed its petition so far. Whether you are American, Mexican, or even Jewish you can benefit from LIEA. It shows the immigrants fleeing for America that they need to be loyal to their own country. It shows the discriminating employers of America that they will have to pay for their actions that harm our economy and our people. It shows China that we can take back control of our own country and that we will stop living for their gain and our loss. I sweated just as much as the mexicans did in the tobacco fields with them when I was nine years old, and I was cut just a much as they were in the rebar patches at 19, but they continue to have more rights and ways of living in my own country than I do. Why? Because of the employers greedy profit driven ethics, and because of YOU, my fellow Americans will not support LIEA because you are scared of prices rising back to the American standard that does not exist anymore. My country (it's lying politicans, disloyal employers, stupified citizens that can't do the right thing only for fear scares them, and the immigrants and imported products and services that have control or the markets) makes me sick to my stomach. I am 99% exhausted with trying to live in America. The 1% that keeps me going is b/c of places like Do Something Org. that allows me to express my facts and feelings. Through such organizations Americans may have more opportunities. Thank you Do Something Organization!
