Halloween

Halloween Event

Our project is a haunted house at our high school. This will be a drug, alcohol free event. Our township has a activity for younger kids but not for teens. This would be a safe thing for them to do. We did this project two years ago and it was a hit.

Helping Children Around The World with UNICEF

The Riverside Do Something Club learned about the work UNICEF does around the world to provide children and families with the 5 basic needs. The Club Members appeared on the school's closed circuit TV and explained what could be done with donations in order to build houses, provide vaccines, stock schools with basic supplies, feed people in need of good nutrition, and create access to clean water. Over $1600 was raised by our club members at Halloween, and our community was educated by children about the important work of UNICEF.
