See It: The Community being helped
Washington’s newest must-see attraction opens soon and you can be part of the excitement today! As a Newseum volunteer you will learn new skills and work with motivated people who share a common interest - the news. Volunteers will fill many vital roles at the Newseum, including: meet and greet visitors; assist in maintaining visitor traffic flow; conduct tours of our galleries; assist in programs in our Education Department; and work behind the scenes on a variety of administrative tasks, events and programs. The Newseum will provide training and a Metro subsidy to get to/from the Newseum. Volunteers must be 16 or older and make a one-year commitment. Training will be provided and begins Fall 2007.
