Kids' Aid Society

The Kids' Aid Society collects funds throughout the entire year to have a readily available source of capital for donations to a variety of global emergency situations, ranging from providing funds for students in developing countries to afford school supplies, to sponsoring children across the world, to donating large sums of money to the victims of natural disasters the moment they strike, and any other urgent global situation. The Kids' Aid Society sponsors the education of 52 children overseas at a cost of $60 per child per year.

Sweetest Lemonade Stand Ever!

A little bit of change can add up to do a world of good! Our club members read about Heifer International, a nonprofit that helps developing communities use real animals to jumpstart their economies so that, for example, children can go to school, families have food to eat, villages can develop businesses, etc. etc. We read and saw a film about the real children, the same age as our members, and how their lives can change just by owning a cow, or goat, or bees, or chickens... It was inspiring and cool to see all the ways that an animal can change a family or community's life!!
