I am organizing a race to benefit John Hopkins Medical Research Center. It will be a community-wide event and major fundraiser for this fantastic cause. My goal is to raise $2000 at this charitable event.

Each year, the Wheatley Key Club (affiliated with County Seat Kiwanis)holds a Walk-a-Thon for charity. The organizations who receive funds change each year; this year, the charities will be:

• Habitat for Humanity
• UCP's Childrens Learning Center
• Coalition Against Domestic Violence
• Wildcat Athletic Foundation
• The Ronald McDonald House

Over the past 6 years, our Walk-a-Thon has raised over $100,000! It is our major event of the year, and the entire community participates; everyone comes out with their friends, families, and even their dogs, to support these worthwhile causes.
