Each community that I work in is substantially different with often only one thing in common - The handicapped. Often these poor people are sent to the back of schools and facilities into trailers or other less favorable buildings where the paint is chipped and the future looks as bleak as the walls.

We are a group of experienced young artists at Miami Palmetto Senior High School who have created Painting Smiles to share our love of art with the community. Through painting murals we hope to promote the causes that we believe in--one of which is that the most important purpose of art is to inspire smiles from the viewer.
At the present we've painted over 500 sq feet of murals and are planning several more projects that will span over 600 sq feet.
