Starting February 2009, I will be biking across the country to raise money for my high school's environmental action club. The experience will be a wonderful opportunity for me to raise money for my club and thus lessen the carbon footprint of my school, and therefore community.
Currently, the environmental action club (which has just been founded this school year) is devising a composting program for the school. We have met with "Compost Masters" from around town, and are talking with school administrators about this new possibility.

I am riding 300 miles on a bicycle through Michigan to make a girl's wish come true. In conjunction with the Make-A-Wish foundation I am attempting to raise $650 to make Hannah's wish come true. Hannah would like to go to Disney World. The ride takes us from northern Michigan to Dexter, Michigan. Over the course of 3 days we will travel 300 miles of hills, flat lands and highways all to Make-A-Wish for Hannah come true.
